Our week

This weeks has been full of so many things...

Service- Everyday I have our kids do one service project. It can be something small from saying something nice to each other or helping me bring in groceries but these have been some fun ones they've done this week....

Lily helped get mail for me. I love her problem solving skills.
Everyone helped give Mike a massage. So helpful!

I think what Lily is doing is what you call a " Deep Tissue Massage"
Our girls helped wash our van. Funny to say but they were so excited to do this.

I think this was #1 reason they wanted to help....water fight!

Reason #2 to have an unlimited supply of drinking water

#3 to play in the puddles. Our girls are so funny.

Activities- And just as we do a daily service project we do a daily activity. We've made some cards for people, colored pictures and.....

we made homemade play-doh. Mason really liked it! Cati ate some but since it was just flour I didn't have to worry so much. I loved that part!
Lily made a donut. Sorry- I don't see it but at least she's using her imagination.

We decorated cupcakes....most delicious activity yet

Lily said to her cupcake "I'm going to eat you!" She's so funny!

So yummy! Between the 5 of us we ate like 9 cupcakes. I'm not saying who ate the most but 1 hint it wasn't me.

The tub of frosting was 3/4 gone and we only decorated 9 cupcakes....sneaky girl.

We had a treasure hunt. Since my brain is not made for rhythms Mike helped with that part. And he did a great job!

Here's Hailey reading the1st clue.
Mike's helping Lily read her clue
Mason found his clue in his scriptures and now he's helping Hailey read her clue.

Ducati was so adorable with her clues. Her first clue was to lead her to the diaper changing station. She did great; she just walked to our room and pointed up to find her clue. But her second clue- I was really impressed at how smart she is. Mike read the clue to her and it was to lead her to her car seat. So with her clue in hand she walked over to the van and pointed to have someone open the door. She crawled in and grabbed the next clue.

She passed it to Mason where it lead him to find the treasure chest!
Everyone got 1 treasure chest box filled with 1 soda and some candies. They loved it!

Hailey's face explains it all...Joy to her world!

Of course I didn't forget my awesome hubby. I had set aside a Baby Ruth for him.

Or we've had visit to our neighborhood park....

And we've had some FUN and SWEET times that I don't ever want to forget....

Cati using her pillow as a blanket AND her blanket for pillow. Alittle opposite but so cute!
I asked Mike to build a box for all our outdoor toys (sled, bats and balls, etc.) I imagined a toy box size but when I came outside he built this huge box. I asked him what did he intend to put inside and that's when he realized....he built the box too big!

So big that he can fit inside and have some leg room...

Now to think what we could use it for??? I love this man!
I asked Cati to grab her shoes so she could go outside. And here are her problem solving skills in the making.
Played hide and seek in our paper products. You think it's 2 kids under there right?
Nope-it's Dad and Lily. They're so funny together.
Lily said "I love you Mommy. And I love Mommy's shadow" She's so sweet.
Lily and Hailey. Even though they are 3 years apart you wouldn't think so. They do everything together. They share clothes, play together, read together, do lessons together, fight and scratch each other but I absolutely love it when I capture their tender moments when they act like sweet sisters.
