When we first walked in we seen this really cool firetruck that has the fireman gear for the kids to dress up in. So our kids jumped on that.
But after this it turned to complete chaos of Mason and Hailey wanting to go to different places. So try to keep up...
We first went to a dinosaur art center where you can draw your own dinosaur from stencils or a light tracer. Then we threw army parachute men over the ledge of the treehouse that's inside the museum to see who could land on the "X". Hailey won that challenge.
Then we headed to a medieval room.
We were only able to play here for a few minutes since this is where they held the toddler story/song time. But Hailey got to dress up as a wizard. She vetoed wanting to be a princess. And she made this stain glass sticker window. Mason played with a knight and dragon Lego set.
After here we went into a doll room.
Hailey was the only one that followed the instruction on making the wind stocks patriot.
She was very proud of hers.
Next stop was the Oval Office.
And if Hailey can't be a photographer, President, soldier or a wizard then I have that hope that she'll be a doctor.Lily on the other hand might go Amish.
Our next stop was a music room. This room must be well insulated since we couldn't really hear anything until we entered this room. There is instruments from all around the world in there that the kids can play with.
"My bum is on a drum" says Lily. The kids really liked this room especially the several different xylophones on the wall.
After this really quiet room I needed a break so the kids went into a play land that's filled with logs, Lego's, and other kids toy stuff.
Then after our little break we headed to play a states game where a computer either asks you an easy or difficult question about the United States of America. We tried a few questions and since Mason didn't know the answers we skipped on. But mental note for me... I need to teach him that.
We went down the tree house into an area where there are stories from around the world. And each story has a scene background to put you in the mood.
I honestly forgot all of this story but I do remember each kid is to make a wish to the stars every year for it to come true. So the kids grabbed a post-it and put there wish on the wall.
And we got to make feather necklaces. Yeah!!!
Finally after taking a quick look at some fish we headed to our final destination. The wood toy room. The kids played here for a few minutes with cars and planes.
We would of stood at the museum much much longer but we only had a 2 hour parking spot and we were getting hungry. But for the $10 we paid we sure got our money's worth.
