Dance Contest

We were doing some deep house cleaning and were set to Mike's music playlist. But of course all our kids just danced instead of doing their chores. So we made a deal...clean now AND after lunch we'll have a dance contest. 2 grand prizes- 1 prize for the most silliest dance and 1 prize for the most awesome dance. This kicked the kids into gear to finish up their cleaning.

After lunch Mike tuned up his tunes and let the dancing begin!

 ( I really need to get a camera that has a movement setting.....any suggestions?)

 (Mike and I weren't sure what Mason was doing with trying to flip his legs over his head. He's a funny kid)

But after the judges (mike and I)  seen everyone dance their best and most silliest dance we talked privately behind a pillow and announced the winners. And the winners were............

Mason for most silliest dance. clap,clap,clap

 And Ducati won for most awesomest dance. She just shrugged her shoulders to the beat of the music. It was way cool!!! clap,clap,clap

 Grand prizes were a fruit by the foot AND a package of fruit snacks.

 Hailey and Lily got a package of fruit snacks for participating in the contest.

But the best treat for them was watching Mike bust a move. He showed them some crazy kick flip dance moves that left the kids in awe. Of course when he was done amazing our kids everyone got up and  tried their hand at copying him. Not even close but everyone was great for competing in our family dance off!
