Friends Hanging Out

Later saturday night Mike and I went out with some of his friends, Matt and Jamie. We went to a bar (I know) however Mike and I didn't drink we just had soda. It was funny being pregnant and in there. Everyone kept looking at me like I was crazy. But oh well....we played pool for a while and Jamie and I talked half the time while the boys did their male bonding.

Mike and Matt played a punching bag game that was there. The harder you punch the higher the score. Mike was determined to be the high score. His high score was 9077. That's my baby!!

When I went into the ladies room I seen this sign on the wall. And I couldn't help but laugh and take a picture.
After the pool we went to Denny's. We talked and laughed over the wonderful aroma of breakfast food at midnight. It was so much fun hanging out with them. I think it helped mike relax some and enjoy himself. So thanks Matt and Jamie for the great evening.

Duck Park

So we stopped at a Duck park in Layton Saturday afternoon. I don't know the name but it has a pond with a waterfall and tons of ducks and geese walking around or swimming. We brought up some Cherrios to feed them. We usually bring bread but we wanted to try something different and they loved it!

I had some crackers in my purse for heartburn reasons. So I gave this duck a cracker. It took it out of my hand. Hailey tried and got alittle scared so dropped hers. Mason put his hand out and the duck took it from him. But when Mike tried it. The duck took the cracker and put it down and reached back up to Mikes hand and bite it! It was so funny. So Mike took another cracker and hit the duck with it. But it was sooo funny!!!

Family Movie Night

Tonight we had family movie night. For the past 4 almost 5 months each week we get together without the thought of homework, work, chores, etc. and rent a RedBox movie and eat popcorn, rootbeer floats, and munch on some kind of food. We didn't rent a movie tonight since Mike brought a Tom and Jerry cartoon DVD and a Tweety Bird Movie DVD so we watched these instead and piged out on grilled cheese sandwiches. YUMMY!!!

Mike had to work tonight so we had an early movie night and he went to work afterwards. The kids absolutely loved it. I love the sound of their laughter. And I personally have to admit I have missed F.M.N. We haven't done a movie night for about 3-4 weeks. With everything falling on our laps at once I feel we forgot how to get back to the basics.

But as I was making second's on the Root Beer floats for everyone I seen mike and hailey cuddling on the floor watching tweety bird fly around the world. I feel we have to keep our family bond to keep our family strength. We have let some "Things" get in our way and I am glad to say that I seen the light and I am going to make sure we stay strong as a family.

Lily's Happening

So I noticed that I haven't really talked about Lily so here's how she is doing. I went to the doctors yesterday and she is doing great. The dr feels she'll be a 9lb baby or really close to it. She reaches from my pubic bone to my breast bone. So I forgot how many inches that is but I remember him saying she will be a tall, big baby.

I'm feeling REALLY uncomfortable. I lose my breathe alot. Even if I am walking up a flight of stairs I need to sit down when I get in our apt. I'm getting to that point where I have alot of leg pains. Mike on sunday had to run out and get me some extra strenght Tylenol. I could barely walk. But thats not the best part. She is growing alot and since then she isn't much of a kicker but now she wiggles more. And I love playing the guessing game of what she is poking out.

Mike put his speakers on my stomach one day and was playing some things from his playlist and I know she likes hip-hop/pop. This day she was rockin out to Natasha Benifield (not sure how to spell) "A.N.G.E.L." and one republic " To late to apologize". But not a big fan of conutry :) That's my girl!!!

Mason and Hailey are loving the idea of her coming. Hailey went with us to the doc and heard Lily's heartbeat and loved it. Mason has felt her kick a few times. He tries to have her do it on demand but of course with my genes she won't.

Precious Mommy Moment

Have you ever heard the saying"Taking Candy from a baby"? Well they never met Hailey.
Here she is in a dead sleep and she is holding onto that lollipop with a kung-fu grip that brings a smile to our face. Mike picked her up from her car seat and carried her up to our apartment and layed her down and she never let go. This is one of many moments that make me so happy being a mom :-)

Dance,Dance, Dance

Hailey started her first day at Ballet/Jazz dance. It's 10 weeks of a bunch of 3-5 year olds dancing to their own tone. Hailey was shy when she got there. Just kinda stood there and watched everyone. She would turn around every so while and wave to us or come by us and

whisper something that we couldn't hear. But at the very end of class the teacher taught the kids how to leap in the air with their arms extended. Hailey was next to last but she ran with her arms out and jumped over the magazine that was their target spot to leap over. It was really cute. (see her little ballet shoes. she wants a whole ballet outfit so off to the store to get one)

Chillaxin'

Lately we as a family have had a lot on our plate that we would rather not talk about but we were in need of some FUN family time we went to the Utah State Fair.

And of course right when we got there the kids wanted a snowcone. At $2 a small cup we didn't complain when they ate the whole thing. Plus it gave Mike and me a chance to look at the map and scheduled activites they had going on.

Mike seen that there was an expert chainsaw wood carver so we all went to see the amazment in person. The guy takes a big chunk of wood and uses his chainsaw to carver statues. Bears, Indian heads, benches, etc. I admit it was cool the first 20 minutes but soon after Hailey and I were getting bore. Finding any excuse to move around and leave for a minute or two. But the boys were loving it. Wood chips flying everywhere, the noise, the guessing of what he was making ( it was a flying eagle).

But Mike seen our boredom kicking in and the not-so-love of chainsaw music that we left and went to the carnival. Mason picked first. Since I am unable to ride the rides due to my carrying our newest addition Mike was the one who went on with the kids. I think he enjoyed it more than the kids.
Mason picked first and went on the Wizzer or whatever its called. I was VERY hestitate on letting him go but boys need to explore so....mums a word. When the ride started they must of only gone around one time and the whole time I can hear mason yelling. They stopped the ride so he can get off.

He was so pale when he got off that ride. I hugged him but couldn't help but laugh!!!

Then it was Hailey's turn. It didn't surprise us when she picked the helicopter ride. She got to fly it up and down with alittle help from dad. But if you look closely you can see she picked the Air Force 'copter. But after this we went to the petting zoo and seen the farm animals. But we left after about 2 hours of FUN that was long over due.
